It’s rooms range from 107 sq metres with mini-bar, fireplaces, satellite television and all other mod-cons to other that are more intimate and small . The hotel is ideal for conferences and meetings and romantic getaways.

Your hosts welcome you to this exceptional retreat and gracious country house with personal service and attention to detail.

You will be personally welcomed on your arrival at the main building, which houses the friendly reception area, beautifully appointed lounge, dining room, well-stocked library and main kitchen. In the evening, you’ll find your bed linen has been turned down and adorned with delectable chocolates to promote the sweetest of dreams.

As dawn breaks or, perhaps at sunset, step out on to your private balcony and enjoy the fresh country air. Each suite is equipped with a fireplace, telephone, satellite TV, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer and a safe. The bathrooms have under tile heating and heated towel rails.

ACCOMMODATION

Guests are accommodated in a range of suites some of which have their own log fires, patios and private dining facilities. All suites are decorated to the most luxurious standards with satellite TV and a fully stocked mini bar. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a bath and/or shower, under-floor heating. Luxury suites have heated towel rails, double vanities etc.

DINING

Take your first meal of the day in the light and airy breakfast area. Or, perhaps, you wish to indulge in a scrumptious breakfast served in the privacy of your suite from the private butler entrance. In fine weather breakfast and afternoon tea are served in the garden.

The elegant dining room with its beamed ceilings and open stone fireplace offers wholesome country faire. In the evening, elegant candle-lit dinners with exquisite cuisine and relaxed evenings around a crackling fire will give you memories to cherish. WINE CELLAR

In addition to our extensive existing collection our wine cellar has seen the arrival of a number of new releases. These include private bin and Nederburg Auction wines.

WHISKY & CHAMPAGNE BAR

In keeping with our Scottish heritage, no visit to Peebles is complete without a visit to our well stocked whisky bar. We pride ourselves in our selection of over 50 fine single malts and other rare whisky. Those with more continental tastes may treat themselves to a selection from our extensive collection of imported champagnes.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

Peebles’ Conference facilities: The ideal venue for small company getaways and for executives who seek an exclusive and peaceful environment to recharge their batteries. The conference room, also ideally suited to private functions such as intimate weddings, accommodates 20 people and has full catering facilities.
