Protea Hotel OR Tambo Airport has gone BIGGER AND BETTER. We have just expanded our conference facilities to include 3 conference rooms and 7 boardrooms. New facilities will boast state of the art AV equipment, including mounted Data Projectors, electronically controlled dropped down screens, built in PA Systems which provide basic auditory functionality.
The conferencing facility was designed in such a way that all conference rooms have natural lighting which can be removed with block out curtains.
All rooms have variable light settings, enabling each CLIENT to customize their setting. Whether it is bright light for training, or toned down for intimate dinners.
Large entrance bays allow for exhibitions and car shows.
Our second largest venue can be split into two separate venues, giving CLIENTS more flexibility.
In our quest for sustainability, Protea OR Tambo Airport is one of the many participating Protea Hotels which use the Vivreau water purification system to provide bottled water to our conference delegates.
The self-contained Protea Hotel OR Tambo Conference Centre offers two multi use conference rooms seating up to 250 delegates and two executive boardrooms seating between 10-20 delegates.
The main building offers a third multi use meeting room seating between 30 – 40 delegates. Our conference rooms features all the state of the art audio and visual equipment you would expect, including a data projector, DVD player and wireless internet.
Protea Hotel OR Tambo will be the hub for national and international company meetings with convenience being our greatest asset!

Rate includes lunch or dinner buffet, Venue Hire, 2 drinks per person (Local Beers and Ciders ONLY), Table linen, Table centre pieces, Dance floor, stage, podium, microphone, PA system, projector and screen
GUESTS have the option of booking rooms at the rate of R995 single and R1130 Double with complimentary breakfast!!

DCP PACKAGES
Full day conference package R395 per person per day.

Half day conference package R380 per person per day.
This includes: Venue hire, standard equipment, writing pads and pens, cordials and ice water, parking, arrival ALL DAY tea/coffee, mid-morning tea/coffee/juice and savouries, lunch.
