Conference Facilities

KoelenRust Estate is the perfect venue for mini-conferences, workshops, informal boardroom meetings, product launches, staff training, think tanks, training and bosberade. What makes it unique? Your company will have exclusive use of the entire lodge during the time of the conference if all rooms are booked out. The conference room is situated in the garden which will ensure total privacy and seclusion from the outside world. The Lodge provides a total different feeling from the normal conference rooms in a hotel set-up.

We offer conference facilities at realistic prices. The conference room can accommodate up to 40 day delegates or 26 overnight delegates (sharing).  The scrumptious meals, specially prepared for the group, will ensure your stay is comfortable and care-free. Your stay at KoelenRust Country Retreat & Guest Lodge will remain a highlight of your business trip.

All conference packages include:
Standard equipment: Screen, flip chart with one ream of white paper and two pens, whiteboard and two pens, white paper and pens. Mints and fresh water are placed on the tables. All other specialised or additional equipment required, will be charged accordingly

Half Day Conference Packages
Welcome refreshments: Tea, coffee and sandwiches on arrival
Mid-morning refreshment break: Tea and coffee, served with muffins or other refreshments
Lunch – Buffet set-menu: Main course, starches, vegetables and salad.
Full Day Conference Packages
Welcome refreshments: Tea, coffee and sandwiches on arrival
Mid-morning refreshment break: Tea and coffee, served with muffins or other refreshments
Lunch – Buffet set-menu: Main course, starches, vegetables and salads
Mid-afternoon refreshment break: Tea and coffee, served with assorted biscuits & date- or banana bread

24 Hour Conference Packages
Welcome refreshments: Tea, coffee and sandwiches on arrival
Mid-morning refreshment break: Tea and coffee, served with muffins or other refreshments
Lunch – Buffet set-menu: Main course, starches, vegetalbes and salads
Mid-afternoon refreshment break: Tea and coffee, served with assorted biscuits & date- or banana bread

Dinner:  Buffet set-menu or a braai in the open-air African Boma – main course, salads, starches and dessert.

Overnight accommodation in our country style rooms, situated in the garden.
Breakfast the following day – Full English or Continental breakfast

KoelenRust Estate is situated in the heart of the Crocodile Ramble, close to Johannesburg, Sandton or Pretoria and a stones throw from the Lanseria International Airport and the world famous Cradle of Humankind. Our country retreat offers adults a natural hide-away from the nearby cities. This is a haven, personally developed by the owners, as a retreat for adult guests. Surrounded by a vast garden amongst huge trees, you will experience peace and tranquillity that will create the frame of mind for very productive meetings and relaxation.

Accommodation

Accommodation consists of country style cottages and rustic garden rooms. It comprises of  thatch roof cottages, standard garden rooms and garden suites – all elegantly furnished in a rustic country style to compliment the surrounds.
The individually decorated en-suite bedrooms in rustic style will envelope you in comfort. Crisp white linen on our double- or twin beds will ensure a peaceful nights sleep. Each unit has its own private entrance into the garden.
