Grootbos Nature Reserve is situated between the villages of Stanford and Gansbaai in the Overberg area and is about a 2-hour drive from Cape Town. The 2500-hectare reserve is situated on the hills overlooking Walker Bay with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the distant Cape of Good Hope. It is set in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom and has the most magnificent array of fynbos and wildlife.

Grootbos Private Nature Reserve offers the perfect venue for conferencing. We specialize in conference groups from 10-60 delegates. The tranquil environment away from the hectic city lends itself to a creative and productive getaway. Delegates are provided with luxury accommodation. All of our suites have twin beds, duvets, cotton linen and the sounds of nature rejuvenate the body and soul for the day that lies ahead.

With a staff compliment of 100, Grootbos is a flexible and private venue with a standard of service that will exceed your expectations. All meals are prepared by our Master Chefs and served in our magnificent restaurant that overlooks Walker Bay. With dinner we offer only the best Cape Wines in a social atmosphere, while our comprehensive bar and lounge provide for a congenial environment to relax and socialise after a day of conferencing.
